Sorry I have not been posting news latley on the blog but hear goes, we have had a massive clear out of stock in the front part of the shop, lots of girly things like handbags, jewellery, scarves and kitchen goods. I feel I need to get a different look so I am quite excited that I am going to the show at Olympia on Monday to spend, spend and spend. All the staff are keeping well and we are glad that it seems like summer has decided to come to us. Lots of things are happening in Woodstock as it is a special year so look up wake up to Woodstock to get all the details. My dad is in a residential home here in Woodstock they are preparing for the carnival sorting out costumes It will be strange to see him in fancy dress when he always wears a suite. Keep alook out for the bargins we will be offering within the next few weeks. I have now been hooked into Facebook, got to get my head around this especially as I have not got my head around the website yet, thank goodnes for Jodie!

Very excited with the latest purchases, ranging from Children’s toys to Children’s clothing. Watch out for our new suppliers, beautiful babies clothing by Petit Bateau who are renound for their classic style. Coco for their beautiful embroideries soft to the touch fabrics and witty detailing are some of the elements that make the brand so special, m. ma. me are renowned for putting the fun into baby’s first clothes, pratical & durable clean classic shapes with fun, quirky detailing in knit & woven fabrics.
We have found a fabulous range of clothing for Toddlers from a company called ‘Me Too’ truly fun & funky prints at affordable prices.
We will also be stocking clothing for Prem babies.
More wooden toys from Hungry Caterpillar and more soft toys from Rubbabu. Sophie The giraffe is on her way, should be in the shop in the next two days.

For Lent I intend to do more blogs to keep you up to date!

Here we go again boxes boxes boxes of new stock!
Could not believe it the other day I heard them on the radio counting down to Christmas… My staff say Christmas is here everyday with the amount of boxes that come in. At least they still get a buzz, when they open them!
I have threatened them with chopping their hands off, if I see them taking a chocolate or two when my new chocolate stock comes in! - You will have to keep an eye on the web to see what I mean….
My husband Robert has made it quite clear, when the time comes for me to retire I am not allowed anywhere near his debit cards, how mean is that!!!!!
Don’t worry folks, I might be 62 but I feel like 42 so it won’t be for quite a while yet!

Had a wonderful phone call last night from a medium friend of mine, someone she knows who is very ill came into the shop last week with a friend, on going out she mentioned to her friend that she had an overriding feeling of peace and calm even though the shop had a lot of activity going on, this is great news for I know the energies are very good, we are often told similar things from customers but it is always nice to hear it from a third party. I will have to tune in to see if it is Rosie our resident spirit who is doing this or weather it is my guides.

Big changes will be happening in the shop, I am going to bring all the children’s clothes and soft toys into the front and move the jewellery, handbags and cards into the back, the reason we are doing this is to make room for the beautiful children’s furniture we are getting in. Rosie our resident spirit will make herself known, she always does when we do something major to the shop. I will let you know how she reacts to the move.
Gilly is still suffering with her leg. she is a real trooper still working with that stick of hers,
Jodie still has pneumonia and still comes into work between the hospital appointments, these are my youngest staff. could it be that i have the whip to hand? When the change over happens on saturday the 10th october I hope my staff will be fit and well.

This weekend we are quite excited with the anticipation of being busy with all the caravan people coming to Woodstock.
This is providing they know they can get a pass to look around Woodstock Town after all there are a large variety of shops to browse around. We are offering some special giveaways ranging from: a Pashmina, Environmental friendly Jute Bag and chocolates… I have never done this before so it will be an interesting exercise.
The girls are melting down stairs with this heat wave we are having! Juliet is convinced that all that will be left of her is her turquoise nail polish & her jewellery scattered on the floor!!
Gilly Is expecting to be a grandmother any moment, we all hold our breath when the phone rings, especially as baby was due last Friday.
Well heres to a good weekend, have lots of fun what ever you are doing.

Had some exciting new jewellery for autumn arrive… all priced up & displayed!
Irene has ordered “wow factor” Childrens Wooden furniture. It is handpainted rubberwood from a renewable source. We are all anxiously awaiting to see this, but goodness knows where we will put it!
If it’s a fine day, there is always the pavement!
Week after next we are going to celebrate Prill’s special Birthday. Irene is treating us to a meal.
